Neck Pain Chiropractic
Neck pain is commonly linked to poor posture, particularly with prolonged time spent at desks, on computers, or using digital devices. However, it’s not just screen time that contributes. Footwear choices, car seat positioning, sleeping posture, and office set-ups —
when not supportive or ergonomically appropriate — can all place ongoing strain on the neck and surrounding structures.
Over time, these repeated stresses create tension in the muscles and joints of the neck, leading to stiffness, discomfort and restricted movement. Neck pain may also arise from injuries such as falls, car accidents, or sporting incidents, as well as underlying spinal
conditions including disc injuries, arthritis, or age-related degeneration.
Poor posture doesn’t just affect muscles — it places abnormal tension on the nervous system. Because the nervous system coordinates and controls every function in the body, structural strain in the neck can have far-reaching effects beyond local pain.
With Advanced BioStructural Correction™ (ABC™) care, the focus is not on chasing symptoms, but on correcting the underlying structural shifts that place stress on the spine and nervous system. Through a thorough structural assessment — and imaging such as
X-rays when clinically appropriate — we identify the primary distortion patterns contributing to your neck pain.
ABC™ adjustments are precise and specific, aiming to restore proper structural alignment so the body can hold change, rather than relying on repeated temporary relief. As structure
improves, tension on the nervous system reduces, posture often visibly improves, and the body is better able to function and adapt.
Addressing neck pain early with a structural approach can help prevent chronic patterns from developing and support long-term stability, movement, and overall wellbeing.

Treatment for Neck Pain
The first thing we will do is investigate the cause of your pain and then give advice on how to correct the problem. Your chiropractor will take your history and run a thorough examination to assess your injury. We also have X-ray facilities if further investigation into the cause of your neck pain is required.
Once the initial assessment has been completed your chiropractor will give you recommendations for care going forward. Treatment options include:
- Chiropractic adjustments
- Ergonomic advice
- Soft tissue therapy
- Exercise
Our highly qualified chiropractors are here to help with your back pain. In the event that your chiropractor identifies that our practice is not suited to your injury, we will then organise a referral to another health practitioner that can help.
